Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 (FTE)

Contract Type: Permanent - 3 Days a week

Are you a strategic HR leader ready to shape the future of a dynamic and growing organisation? We’re seeking a Head of Human Resources to lead our HR function, align people strategies with business goals, and drive impactful initiatives across the Group.

About the Role

As Head of HR, you will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the HR function. You’ll work closely with the Board to shape and deliver a people strategy that supports organisational growth, performance, and culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Group-wide HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Advise senior leaders on reward, organisational design, and change management.
  • Lead diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Drive workforce planning, succession, and talent management.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, and productivity.
  • Design and deliver learning and development programmes.
  • Manage performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Lead cultural transformation and embed company values.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role within a commercial SME.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and its practical application.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Confident in advising managers on all aspects of people management.
  • Effective IT skills, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Commercially astute with a professional approach to HR.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Passionate about living and promoting company values.
