Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk – Great Bridge
Salary: £12.56 per hour (pro rata £24,500 per annum)
Hours: 16 hours per week, flexible over 2, 3, or 4 days to suit you
Contract: 12-week temporary to permanent (payrolled through Hariley Solutions for the first 12 weeks)
Hariley Solutions is recruiting a Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk for a well-established manufacturing company in Great Bridge. This is a flexible finance role offering the chance to join a supportive, busy team, with a clear pathway to permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input and code supplier invoices, ensuring correct matching with Purchase Orders
- Process supplier payments via BACS and reconcile statements
- Raise and chase queries with internal teams and suppliers
- Assist with aged creditors and unusual transaction investigations
- Support cash flow reporting and maintain supplier accounts
- Provide ad hoc support to the finance team as required
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in purchase ledger or finance roles
- Confident working in a busy team environment handling high volumes
- Proficient in Excel; Sage experience advantageous
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and communication abilities
- GCSEs including Maths
