The Opportunity:
We’re looking for experienced Programme Managers to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple interrelated projects within our Insurance, Reinsurance & Operations (EO) divisions. These roles are central to ensuring that all projects within the programme align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Technology Delivery Teams, Change & Excellence Managers, external consultants, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration, effective resource use, and timely delivery. You’ll also manage budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations while fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Your New Role:
Develop and maintain the overall programme plan, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives
Oversee and coordinate multiple related projects, managing interdependencies and resolving conflicts or overlaps between projects
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs and manage expectations, ensuring clear and consistent communication across all levels of the organisation
Allocate and manage resources across projects, working with functional leads and support teams to ensure optimal utilisation
Monitor and control programme budgets, tracking expenditure and forecasting financial needs
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the programme, supporting project teams with effective risk strategies
Collaborate with the Project Support Manager to track progress and performance, reporting on milestones, deliverables, and outcomes to senior leadership
Provide leadership and guidance to Change & Excellence Managers and Change Leaders, promoting collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
About you:
You’re a strategic thinker with a strong track record of leading complex programmes. You’re confident managing multiple projects and teams, and you know how to bring people together to deliver results that matter.
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Extensive experience in programme management, ideally within large-scale change or transformation environments
Understanding of business operations, with firsthand experience of Insurance and Reinsurance highly desirable,
Strong leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders simultaneously
Excellent stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels
Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and risks, adapting plans as needed to stay on track
Familiarity with project delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and the ability to apply them appropriately
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering business value
Experience in resource planning and team development, ensuring the right skills are in place to meet programme needs
A collaborative mindset, with a passion for driving change and continuous improvement
