Day-to-day of the role:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in foundation level motor vehicle and manufacturing skills.
Assess, review, and record learner progress and maintain accurate course and learner records.
Embed employment skills into the curriculum to enhance student employability.
Promote the college's ethos and values in all aspects of your work.
Take responsibility for internal quality assurance (IQA) of City & Guilds qualifications within the engineering department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree/HND or relevant professional qualifications in Engineering, coupled with strong industry experience.
Level 3 or above qualification in Motor Vehicle or Manufacturing Engineering.
Teaching qualifications are desirable, or willingness to work towards obtaining one with college support.
Level 2 qualifications in English & Maths.
Demonstrable experience in the motor vehicle or manufacturing industry.
A1/V1 qualifications or working towards them.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in IT.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
