This isn’t your typical Head of Finance role.

You’ll join a fast-growing, owner-managed business. £20m turnover today, but with growth coming from their new US entity.

The business is entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and hands-on. It’s not about layers of red tape; it’s about making things happen.

What you’ll be doing

• Taking ownership of the finance function, leading a small but growing team.
• Driving FP&A: forecasting, budgeting, modelling, and giving the SLT the insight they need.
• Introducing gold-standard reporting and governance to make the business investment-ready.
• Working closely with the MD and senior leadership team (five strong) to steer growth.
• Getting under the skin of systems (NetSuite, Fathom) and making sure data tells the right story.

What we’re looking for

• A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong FP&A experience.
• Confident in team leadership and development.
• Commercially sharp, you’ll bridge finance and the wider business, not sit in a silo.
• Someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves culture.
• M&A and HR experience would be a bonus, but not essential.
