Art & Design Lecturer (Maternity Cover)

• Salary: Up to £38,186 pro rata

Our FE College, a leading further education provider, is looking for an experienced Art & Design Lecturer to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education and making a difference in the lives of students.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the curriculum and assessment requirements for L1 UAL Diploma in Art, Design & Media, L2 UAL Diploma in Art & Design, and L3 UAL Applied General Extended Diploma in Art & Design.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential.
• Assess, review, and record learner progress and maintain course and learner records.
• Embed employment skills into the curriculum courses to enhance student employability.

• Degree in a relevant Art & Design subject (Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, or Photography).
• Experience of teaching in further education is a distinct advantage.
• Teaching qualifications are preferred, or a willingness to work towards obtaining one with our support.
• Recent graduates and individuals looking for a career change may also be considered.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in IT.
