As a key part of our delivery team, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring every customer receives a seamless and memorable experience—right to their door.

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle, delivering beds, mattresses, and furniture directly to customer homes, providing efficient and courteous service every time.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with customers to confirm delivery details, timings, and answer queries, always demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Handle products with care, assembling items when required, and ensuring all deliveries meet our high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with your delivery partner, supporting each other to navigate challenges and deliver on schedule.
• Work flexibly to accommodate delivery routes, adapting positively to changing plans and customer needs.
• Complete necessary delivery and vehicle safety checks, maintaining compliance with company policies and UK road regulations.
• Promote Bensons for Beds’ values of respect, communication, and teamwork at every touchpoint.

• Valid UK driving licence (Category C1, 7.5 tonne) with a good driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an empathetic approach to customer care.
• Demonstrated resilience—able to remain calm and solution-focused in challenging situations or when plans change at short notice.
• Keen attention to detail in ensuring safe driving, product handling, and accurate paperwork completion.
• Physically fit, able to handle manual lifting and navigate stairs/hallways as part of home deliveries.
• Previous experience in a customer delivery or multi-drop driving role is desirable but not essential—positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
• A natural team player who collaborates effectively, builds rapport, and genuinely enjoys helping others.
