The Burford Recruitment Company is proud to be partnering with a successful commercial laundry business in their search for an experienced Appliance Maintenance Engineer. This role offers flexibility in hours and the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team on a permanent basis.

As an Appliance Engineer, you will play a key role in the installation, servicing, and repair of commercial laundry equipment, ensuring it operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair a range of industrial and commercial laundry appliances
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective, timely repairs
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
• Keep detailed records of work carried out and parts used
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards and company procedures
• Keep up to date with evolving technologies and repair methods
• Support wider site maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall upkeep of the premises

About You

• Relevant qualifications in appliance repair or a related discipline
• Proven experience in a similar engineering role
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Able to work independently and manage your time effectively
• A full, valid UK driving licence is essential
• Additional experience in electrical, mechanical, heating, or plumbing systems is a plus

Salary and Benefits

• Competitive salary of £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (DOE)
