Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk

Alexander Daniels are working with a well-established, family-run organisation that is seeking a dedicated Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis, to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a friendly, supportive business with a strong sense of community and long-term stability. The ideal candidate will be working 25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Preparing and processing payment runs
  • Handling supplier queries via phone and email
  • Supporting month-end processes and reporting
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

Personal Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and finance systems
