Location: Dudley, West Midlands (5 days in office)

Salary: £34,000 – £45,000 (DOE)

Role Overview

As a Tax Accountant, you’ll be a key member of the tax department, contributing to both compliance and advisory work across a diverse portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients. You’ll help manage workloads, support advisory projects, and ensure deadlines are met, playing a vital role in the department’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling corporate and personal tax compliance
• Working with trusts and assisting in advisory projects
• Managing a varied client portfolio
• Supporting the wider tax team with technical input and workload management
• Ensuring high standards of client service and compliance

Ideal Candidate

• At least 2–3 years’ experience in a practice-based tax role for more junior candidates, 6+ years for more senior title. 
• ATT or CTA part-qualified or fully qualified
• Strong understanding of tax compliance and advisory work
• Experience managing client portfolios is advantageous
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
