My client, a dynamic Property team based in the heart of the City of London, is seeking a part-time Receptionist/Administrator to join them in a job share capacity. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a front-of-house position and enjoys keeping a busy office running smoothly.
Shift Pattern:
Morning Shift: 9:00am – 1:15pm
Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm – 5:30pm
Shifts alternate every two weeks, but there is flexibility for the successful candidate to work afternoons only if preferred.
Overtime will be paid for any additional hours worked.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update internal telephone and mobile contact lists.
Ensure the reception area is always tidy and welcoming.
Handle incoming calls and take messages as needed.
Support switchboard operations for smooth communication.
Greet and sign in/out all visitors for security compliance.
Manage meeting room bookings via Outlook calendars.
Arrange couriers and taxis upon request.
Liaise with suppliers and manage deliveries.
Oversee contractors working onsite.
Handle outgoing post, including franking and special deliveries.
Keep electronic records of outgoing mail.
Monitor reception emails, take initiative to resolve issues, and respond appropriately.
