Job Title: Part Time Accountant

Hours: 2 days per week (flexible on days & start times)

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (pro rata)

Location: Colchester

Contract: Permanent

We’re seeking a part-time Management Accountant to join our client on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys variety and flexibility, while playing a key role in driving financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Director on Profit & Loss reporting
• Support Senior Management in analysing product performance & success
• Produce monthly management accounts
• Manage bank reconciliations
• Lead on budgeting & forecasting
• Oversee day-to-day accounts
• Implement and improve financial processes

What we’re looking For:

• A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong background in management accounting
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and with senior stakeholders
• A proactive mindset with an eye for process improvement
