KCR Solutions are recruiting a Part-Time Accountant for an excellent client based in Hebburn. This role will suit a hands-on, team player with good Excel knowledge. Working closely with the FD, this is a brilliant opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organisation, supporting core financial operations and ensuring accuracy across all accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts.
• Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts.
• Liaising with external accountants/auditors.
• Reconciling company bank accounts.
• Managing accruals, prepayments, and other month-end adjustments.
• Preparing VAT returns while complying with HMRC deadlines.
• Maintaining accounting systems and generating financial reports.
• Providing cost analysis, budgeting support, and ad hoc financial reporting.
• Delivering accurate data and insights to support the FD’s decision-making.
• Maintaining knowledge of wider finance responsibilities to provide cover if needed.

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA with previous experience of management and statutory accounts processes. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are a must.
