Payroll officer - part time

Your new company

This award-winning business is seeking an experienced payroll professional. This position is a permanent role reporting to the Head of HR for circa 25 hours per week.

Your new role

Within your new role, you will manage and process the end-to-end payroll across a weekly and monthly cycle, from onboarding to leaving, ensuring and maintaining 100% compliance across internal and external audits.

You will have a good understanding of manual calculations for statutory payments, overtime and any payment deductions.

Excellent communication and customer service skills will be essential to support internal employees with any payroll queries whilst also supporting the business with continuous payroll process improvement.

What you'll need to succeed


To succeed in this role, you will have a strong background in end-to-end payroll,
Be self-sufficient and be able to work alongside HR colleagues, assist the business with payroll or pension-related changes and communicate information effectively to all levels of the business. Having experience in a standalone role previously will be favoured.
