Our client is a dynamic international marketing consultancy who are seeking a hands on Head of Finance on a Part time basis to manage and oversee the financial operations of the business. Leading a small finance team, you will work closely with the management team.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Develop and manage the company’s budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Prepare accurate and timely cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Analyse financial performance against key metrics and provide actionable insights to the management team.

Project Costing & Work in Progress (WIP):

• Working closely with the delivery team, accurately cost projects, ensuring all financial aspects are considered, and margins are optimized.
• Monitor and manage work in progress, ensuring that all projects are accounted for and invoiced promptly.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls over project costing and WIP.

Transfer Pricing:

• Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations, preparing documentation and managing intercompany transactions.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the management team, providing clear explanations of financial performance and variances.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Liaise with external Auditors to finalise the statutory accounts and assist with the year end audit.

Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the finance team meets deadlines and delivers high-quality financial information.

Collaboration with Management:

• Work closely with the management team to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and drive business growth.

Proficiency with Xero financial software, Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems is a plus.

This role is part time and offers hybrid working.
