Lufton College
Cambian Lufton College is a specialist residential education provider for 16 to 25-year olds with Autism, learning disabilities, and complex behavioural and emotional needs. The college provides a 2-3-year pathway to prepare our students for adulthood, equipping them with the skills and qualities required to lead a fulfilled, independent and ambitious life.
The Role
The Housekeeping Assistant will work as part of a team and is expected to work effectively and collaboratively with all colleagues delivering the housekeeping services across area areas of Cambian Lufton College.
The Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that all allocated areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. They are also required to clean various parts of the college in order to maintain a hygienic, safe and pleasant environment in which people can live, learn and work. Supporting staff where requested to ensure that that students clothing and linen is also clean, hygienic and in good condition.
To clean designated areas (i.e. student staircases, student houses and other College accommodation) during College term-time and to supply additional housekeeping support to aid the smooth running of the service i.e. to service offices/meeting rooms
Housekeeping staff are required to work flexibly across all areas of the college as directed by their line manager or a member of the Senior Leadership team.
