In this Finance Officer position, you will:
Take ownership of key finance responsibilities, including invoice processing, petty cash reconciliations, and purchase card reconciliations.
Work closely with numerous internal stakeholders, including teachers, IT staff, and other support teams, providing timely financial support.
Mentor and support a junior member of staff, helping to develop their skills and confidence.
Ensure all financial processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with school policies.

The ideal candidate will:
Have a minimum of three years’ experience in finance, with strong experience of invoice processing and order procedures.
Possess a confident personality and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
Have experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues.
Hold an AAT qualification (desirable, not essential).
Have previous experience in an educational setting (highly desirable).
Be proactive, organised, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Possess excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
