Long-term Teachers are proud to be supporting a fantastic special school based in Cheltenham that are looking for a number of SEND Learning Support Workers to support their lovely students.

Having placed a number of staff at this school over the years I can confidently say how well supported you will be as a new member of staff, being provided with regular 1-1 sit downs and training. They are a fantastic school that support students aged from Early Years to KS3; these students will have a range of special needs that include SLD, ASD, SEMH & Complex Needs.

The role

They have a few different gaps at the school at the moment. The school are also more than happy accepting applications from support workers that don't necessarily have school experience. As long as you have a genuine passion for special needs then you are welcome to apply.

The role will involve a lot of 1-1 work and general classroom support. The school are incredibly proud of the work they do there and put their students' needs at the heart of everything they do.

You will be expected to:

• Have experience working with special needs & disabilities
• Support the class teacher in all aspects of classroom support
• Always be proactive and get involved in all aspects of school life
• Work well as part of a team

Working with Long-term Teachers:

We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
