Location: Swindon (studio-based with external shoots)

Contract: Part-time or Full-time (permanent, not freelance)

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and versatile Video Editor / Videographer to join our growing creative team. Based at our studio in Swindon, you will be involved in both in-house productions and on-location shoots, helping us deliver high-quality, engaging video content for a wide range of clients.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the creative and technical sides of video production, is calm under pressure, and can confidently manage projects while keeping clients informed and involved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Video Editing
  • Edit multi-camera shoots with precision and creativity.
  • Repurpose horizontal content into vertical clips for social platforms.
  • Ensure all edits meet brand and client expectations for quality and style.
  • Videography
  • Set up and operate cameras, audio equipment, and lighting for studio and on-location shoots.
  • Work with the production team to ensure professional capture and smooth workflows.
  • (Optional/Trainable) Operate a live video switcher during shoots.
  • Client & Project Management
  • Communicate with clients to gather requirements and update them on progress.
  • Manage timelines and ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
  • Maintain a calm, professional presence on set and in client interactions.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Strong experience editing multi-camera shoots (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).
  • Ability to create engaging short-form vertical content from horizontal footage.
  • Solid understanding of camera operation, audio recording, and lighting setups.
  • Good communication and people skills – able to put clients at ease.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple projects.

Desirable (but can be taught):

  • Experience using video switchers for live or hybrid events.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics or colour grading.
