Salary: NJC 5-7 £15,541 - £16,040 (Actual salary) £25,583 - £26,403 (FTE) + well-being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits

Hours: 26.25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Contract: Fixed term until August 2026

Start date: Oct/ November 2025

We’re looking for a dedicated teaching assistant to join our warm and welcoming team at Lift Hall Road in Hull.

You’re someone who’ll be able to:

• Improve the learning and attainment of students while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.  
• Support students so that they can; access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement. 
• Provide classroom and phonics support in partnership with teachers.
• Deliver interventions for groups of children or individuals independently.

You’re someone who has:

• Motivation and enthusiasm
• Understanding of pupil’s learning needs, including specific SEND needs, in order to support their access to lesson content
• The skills to help students to develop independent learning skills
• Ability to deliver individual and small group targeted interventions
• A relevant level 2 qualification or relevant experience is essential
