Finance Officer

Salary: £16945 / yr (pro rata of £28,241 / yr)

NECA is seeking an accurate, methodical and reliable Finance Officer to join our Finance Department. In this vital role, you will help ensure the organisation remains financially sustainable and responsible by supporting day-to-day financial operations and contributing to effective financial management. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring financial compliance and accountability across all operations.
  • Providing comprehensive payroll support and guidance to NECA employees.
  • Assisting in planning, organising, directing, and controlling financial activities throughout the organisation.

Key Requirements

  • AAT qualification (or equivalent) Level 2 certificate or working towards a relevant financial qualification with significant experience working in a similar environment.
  • Experience handling payroll processing and compliance (experience of Sage 50 Payroll and Sage50 Accounts would be an advantage).
  • Experience in accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment runs.
