Head of Finance
Hours per week: 28
Salary: £42,400 / yr (pro rata of £53,000 / yr)
NECA is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking, and experienced Head of Finance to play a pivotal role in driving the financial sustainability, resilience, and operational efficiency of our organisation. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, optimising financial performance, and aligning resources to deliver our strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and risk management to ensure long-term sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support organisational growth and strategic objectives.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts grants, and funding agreements with accuracy and accountability.
- Provide leadership, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and excellence.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to inform strategic decision-making through robust financial analysis and insights.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or similar professional accounting qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably in a similar sector.
- Strong financial management, risk assessment, and compliance knowledge.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
