My client is a rapidly growing construction business, managing high-end construction projects.

As part of their expansion they seek a management accountant to work closely with the Finance Manager to meet the ever growing management accounting and reporting requirements of this expanding business. This is a permanent role available on a part-time basis - two days per week or the equivalent hours. The role requires an experienced accountant who can add real value to the finance team. The salary available is up to £45,000 paid on a pro-rata basis. The working time will be office based.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Management accounts preparation – journals, accruals, prepayments.
• Banks and balance sheet reconciliations.
• VAT preparation
• Support CIS returns preparation – don’t need to have prior experience of this.
• Develop and improve their processes.
• Support preparation of statutory accounting and audit processes.

Successful candidates will have experience of supporting the production of management accounts and other aspects of finance transactions and reporting. There will be room for the role to grow and develop your skills as the business grows.
