THE ROLE

This is a hands-on leadership role with strategic oversight and operational responsibility.

  • Lead and develop a small finance team
  • Oversee management reporting, budgeting, audit, payroll, and grants
  • Drive process improvements and system efficiencies
  • Partner with budget holders to improve financial literacy
  • Contribute to strategic planning and organisational growth
  • Deputise for the Director of Finance & Corporate Services

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’ll be a qualified or experienced finance professional with a passion for purpose-driven work.


Mandatory:

  • CCAB qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
  • Experience managing teams and improving processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred:

  • Charity or third sector experience
  • Sage 50 familiarity
  • Knowledge of VAT legislation
  • Experience in grants or impact reporting
