Finance Manager (Part time)

Resourcery Group are working with a high growth, market leading business in Liverpool as they look to hire a new Finance Manager on a part time basis. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a well established team and a very profitable business at a time of growth. The Finance Manager will work closely with the Finance Director to drive business performance and help to manage a small but capable finance team. You will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting, championing finance across the business while enhancing controls and driving automation. We envisage that this role will be 2-3 days per week in Liverpool city centre.

Key Responsibilities

• Partnering with the GM & Finance Director to deliver high-impact reporting and insight
• Preparing accurate management accounts, including variance analysis
• Manage financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team, ensuring high performance.
• Ensure efficient cash flow management and financial planning.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes effectively.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
• Support the organisation in achieving its financial and operational goals.

Key Requirements 

• A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills
• Able to work well under pressure and within a team
• Enthusiastic, dynamic, and performance-driven
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
