Accounts Payable Specialist – Flexible/Hybrid Working | c£24m Turnover Business

Location: Leamington / Warwick (with hybrid working available after probation)
Hours: Full-time preferred, but part-time may be considered for the right candidate
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

The Role

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of supplier, subcontractor, and expense invoices. Working closely with the finance and project teams, you’ll help maintain compliance, support timely payments, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and match high volumes of purchase invoices to POs and agreements
  • Verify supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with preparation of payment runs in line with credit terms
  • Maintain accurate ledgers for audit and HMRC compliance
  • Respond to supplier and internal queries in a timely manner
  • Support month-end close with reconciliations and reporting

About You

  • Proven experience in accounts payable is essential
  • Familiarity with CIS is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Confident using accounting software and Excel
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A team player who can also take ownership of their work
