This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced Audit Manager to join a thriving Bristol office, take on significant responsibility, and access a clear path to Senior Manager and beyond. With a commitment to continuous development, you’ll have the chance to get involved in wider firm initiatives, including business development, mentoring, and client advisory services.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a varied portfolio of audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Deliver statutory and group audit engagements to a high standard in line with UK GAAP and auditing standards
  • Review and oversee work prepared by audit teams, ensuring quality and technical accuracy
  • Coach and develop trainees and junior team members, helping them progress into well-rounded professionals
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact
  • Manage engagement budgets and negotiate fees
  • Contribute to business development activities in the local market
  • Support internal initiatives around process improvement, innovation, and team engagement
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in managing audit assignments across a range of industries
  • Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and International Auditing Standards
  • Excellent people management and coaching skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities – confident liaising with clients, teams, and senior stakeholders
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport for client visits
