The Role

We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Optical Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive team in Whitechapel. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Meeting and greeting customers, providing excellent service at every step
• Carrying out pre-screening eye health checks
• Ensuring a smooth and professional handover to the optometrist
• Dispensing glasses and advising on lens options
• Fitting and repairing spectacles
• Teaching customers how to use contact lenses
• Handling general administrative duties
