Responsibilities
Manage a varied portfolio of clients across commercial and not-for-profit sectors
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact in the absence of the Partner
Plan, manage, and review audit engagements, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all relevant standards
Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure effective resource allocation and workflow planning
Monitor budgets, track engagement progress, and manage billing and recovery
Provide on-the-job coaching, supervision, and mentorship to junior team members
Identify areas for improvement and efficiency across client services and internal processes
Actively contribute to the development and growth of the audit service line
Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Proven experience managing a portfolio of audit clients, ideally including not-for-profit organisations
Excellent technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
Skilled at managing client expectations, relationships, and deliverables
Strong leadership and people development experience
Highly organised and capable of managing multiple engagements simultaneously
Confident, proactive, and solutions-focused with strong communication skills
