Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied portfolio of clients across commercial and not-for-profit sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact in the absence of the Partner
  • Plan, manage, and review audit engagements, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all relevant standards
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure effective resource allocation and workflow planning
  • Monitor budgets, track engagement progress, and manage billing and recovery
  • Provide on-the-job coaching, supervision, and mentorship to junior team members
  • Identify areas for improvement and efficiency across client services and internal processes
  • Actively contribute to the development and growth of the audit service line
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience managing a portfolio of audit clients, ideally including not-for-profit organisations
  • Excellent technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
  • Skilled at managing client expectations, relationships, and deliverables
  • Strong leadership and people development experience
  • Highly organised and capable of managing multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Confident, proactive, and solutions-focused with strong communication skills
