About Us

We are recruiting for a dynamic and fast-growing accountancy firm with a strong regional presence and a reputation for high-quality audit and advisory services. With one of the largest and most respected audit teams in the South West and West Midlands, the firm continues to expand and is now seeking ambitious Audit Executives to join their Birmingham office.

This is an exciting opportunity for newly qualified or part-qualified audit professionals to gain exposure to a varied portfolio of clients—from large corporates and fast-growing owner-managed businesses to charities and academy schools. Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute audit and assurance engagements from planning through to completion
  • Conduct audits under UK GAAP for a broad portfolio of clients across various sectors
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
  • Work on-site or remotely as part of an agile audit team
  • Review financial statements and identify any audit or accounting issues
  • Support junior team members by providing coaching and guidance
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure quality client service
  • Contribute to business development and internal initiatives that support team growth
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent) – full study support provided if required
  • Experience leading or supporting audit assignments in a UK accountancy firm
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP and audit methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Proactive, motivated, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • A full UK driving licence and access to transport is desirable
