We are seeking a Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join our educational team in East London. This role involves planning, delivering, and assessing motor vehicle courses from Levels 1 to 3, in accordance with IMI specifications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the motor vehicle industry, with a commitment to developing student potential and achieving high educational standards.

• Plan, deliver, and assess motor vehicle courses in line with IMI specifications.
• Develop and implement schemes of learning, lesson plans, and learning resources that cater to a diverse student body.
• Provide comprehensive support to learners through tutorials, pastoral care, and progression guidance.
• Monitor student performance, attendance, and achievement to ensure high standards of conduct and success.
• Contribute to curriculum development, participate in quality assurance processes, and collaborate effectively within course teams.
• Engage in community and school activities such as open days, enrolment sessions, parents’ evenings, and employer engagement initiatives.

• Must hold a Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification.
• A recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, DET, CERT Ed, or equivalent) is essential.
• Recent and relevant industry experience, with up-to-date knowledge of current motor vehicle practices.
• Proficient digital literacy skills, with the ability to integrate technology into teaching.
• Strong communication and pastoral skills, capable of supporting a wide range of learners.
