About the Role

We are seeking a confident and highly organised Credit Controller to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid credit control experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with customers.

You’ll play a key role in managing and reducing aged debt, ensuring customers stay within agreed credit limits, and maintaining accurate financial records. If you have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively chase and collect outstanding/overdue payments via email, phone, letter, and monthly statements
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure compliance with credit limits and payment terms
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Efficiently manage aged debt in line with company Credit Control Policy
• Attend regular aged debt review meetings with the Finance Manager
• Maintain accurate records and update systems with relevant commentary
• Liaise with the Accounts team to ensure correct payment allocations

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a credit control role
• Strong communication skills – confident over the phone and in person
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Team player with a proactive attitude
• Comfortable using MS Office; experience with accounting software is a plus
