Head of Kitchen - Primary School, Nuthall

Part-Time | 25 Hours per Week | Term-Time Only
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Head of Kitchen to lead our catering team at a welcoming Primary School in Nuthall. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in school catering who is passionate about providing nutritious meals and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

• Oversee the preparation and service of daily meals for pupils and staff
• Manage kitchen staff and coordinate day-to-day operations
• Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, health and safety regulations
• Monitor stock levels and place orders for food and supplies
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment

• Previous experience in a school kitchen or similar catering environment
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• A good understanding of food safety standards and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing high-quality meals
