Nigel Wright are delighted to support a well-renowned and long-established charity in the North East in their search for a Head of Finance. This is a permanent role offering part time hours (28 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Develop and implement financial strategies for sustainability.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts and grant agreements.
• Provide leadership, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or other chartered professional accounting qualification is required.
• Comfortable being hands on with financial processes from the ground up.
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably in either the public or non-profit sector.
• Strong financial management, risk assessment, and compliance knowledge.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
