What’s the role about?

As Area Sales Manager, you’ll be the face of the business — building trust, solving problems, and driving growth across your region.

  • Spend 60% of your time nurturing existing accounts, and 40% developing new business
  • Regularly meet customers face to face, booking appointments at their sites or the brand new showroom in Park Royal, London.
  • Identify and close new sales opportunities, especially with Monthly Repeat Customers
  • Provide technical advice and tailored solutions to meet customer needs
  • Act as the eyes and ears on the ground, feeding insights back to the wider team



Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture existing customer accounts who have the potential to become MRCs
  • Deliver technical support and solution-based advice to generate sales
  • Communicate customer feedback and insights to internal teams
  • Analyse monthly sales performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Ensure regular contact with all key accounts (at least every 8 weeks)
  • Attend daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings to align on goals and performance

Requirements

  • Has proven field sales experience, ideally in hardware, construction, or technical products
  • Thrives on face-to-face customer interaction and relationship building
  • Is proactive, organised, and driven by results
  • Can analyse performance data and translate it into action
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
