Brighton (Hybrid Working Available)

We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support a portfolio of dynamic clients, primarily content creators and digital entrepreneurs. Based mainly at our Brighton office, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with fast-growing businesses in the online media and digital sector.

The role is ideal for someone who is passionate about high-quality financial work and enjoys operating in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment.

• Complete ownership of the Accounts inbox and client communication
• Process invoices using multiple software tools
• Manage financial administration, including two payment runs per month
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns, tax returns, and management accounts
• Reconcile bank accounts across multiple entities
• Maintain bookkeeping for a variety of businesses
• Collaborate with colleagues to refine and improve processes
• Learn and implement new technology and software tools as required
• Actively support the wider bookkeeping and management accounts team

• Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping role
• Strong knowledge of VAT, Self-Assessment, and Corporate Tax
• Experience with cloud-based tools such as Xero, Dext, or Approval Max
• Excellent communication skills—confident across email, phone, and face-to-face interactions
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Comfortable working with tech and adapting to new systems
• Ability to follow and help develop internal processes
• Personable, proactive, and team-oriented
• Must be able to commute to the Brighton office (hybrid working available after probation)
