Part-Time Business Service Administrator

Working onsite in Waltham Abbey, the Business Services Administrator – plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth communication and workflow across clients, suppliers, and internal departments. Acting as a central liaison, the role involves managing a variety of administrative and coordination tasks to support the effective delivery of services within the Property Services Team and wider Business Services Department.

Key responsibilities include managing instructions through the Case Management System (CMS), overseeing the progression of cases in line with service level agreements (SLAs), and providing critical support to internal teams. This role demands strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple communication channels and case timelines effectively.

This is a part-time permanent role working 10.00am – 2.00pm or 10.30am – 2.30pm Monday – Friday and offers an hourly rate of £12.82-£13.33 (£25,000-£26,000 FTE pro rata) depending on experience.

Due to the location of the office, candidates should ideally have their own mode of transport due to limited public transport in the area.

Duties include:

  • Accurately input new instructions and case details into the CMS across various business processes.
  • Act as a key liaison between clients and third-party suppliers to ensure clear and effective communication.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails professionally and promptly.
  • Manage diaries and workflow tasks within the CMS to support efficient case handling.
  • Complete assigned CMS tasks on time to support consistent case progression and adherence to internal service standards.
  • Monitor and manage the progress of active cases, ensuring timelines are met and any delays are followed up.
  • Support wider business functions through general administrative duties as required.
  • Prepare regular progress updates for your line manager, highlighting key developments or issues.
  • Stay up to date with all relevant processes and procedures through ongoing training.
  • Gain exposure to and assist with various property-related matters and operational tasks as part of your role.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as directed by your line manager.
