Accounts Portfolio Manager

Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts Portfolio Manager opportunity on behalf of a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Birkenhead.

Ideal for an ACA or ACCA Qualified individual working in general practice looking for continued professional development and an excellent work/ life balance.

You will manage all aspects of your own portfolio of clients from a range of sectors, providing accounts and tax services, involving more tax/ business advisory work as the role progresses.

The Role:

Managing all aspects of the client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact

Preparation/ review of year-end statutory accounts

Management accounts preparation

Preparation of Tax compliance

Identifying tax planning opportunities

Dealing with HMRC and other third parties

Training junior staff and reviewing their work

Assisting with other ad hoc advisory assignments

You:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified (ideally)

ACA/ ACCA Part Qualified, MAAT or QBE also considered

Experience of managing a client portfolio (ideally)

Strong accounts and tax compliance experience

Background in accountancy practice

Good communication skills
