HR Generalist

Job Overview

My client based in Aylesbury is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of human resources processes, including experience with HRIS systems.

Duties

  • Manage the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy through effective data entry practices within HRIS platforms.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to enhance organisational effectiveness.
  • Provide support for employee relations issues, addressing concerns and facilitating resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate training sessions and professional development initiatives to promote employee growth.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs and develop strategies for talent acquisition.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an HR Generalist or HR Advisor role.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data entry and managing sensitive information confidentially.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • CIPD (or working towards) Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field desirable

£45,000 full time (prorated) for Part time

This role is Hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 from home. MUST be in the office on a Tuesday and Thursday.
