Oncology Nurse

We are proud to partner with a leading healthcare provider who are seeking a Specialist Nurse to join their dedicated Oncology Department.

This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) with a flexible shift pattern, offering the opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking clinical team.

About the Role

As a Specialist Nurse, you will:

  • Deliver safe, high-quality, evidence-based care, acting as a clinical expert and role model.
  • Support assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and long-term management for patients with complex conditions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care pathways and best-practice protocols.
  • Provide education, support, and counselling to patients and their families, empowering them throughout their healthcare journey.
  • Act as a key contact for patients, ensuring consistent and coordinated care.
  • Signpost patients to additional services, delivering truly holistic care.
About You

To be successful, you will need:

  • NMC registration
  • Significant post-registration experience in Oncology or a relevant specialty.
  • Demonstrable specialist knowledge and advanced clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • The capability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
