We’re excited to announce a new opportunity to join our clients expanding team in Dalry, North Ayrshire. This part-time position offers 16–20 hours per week, spread over 2–3 days, and is ideal for someone looking to contribute meaningfully to a busy conveyancing practice while enjoying a flexible working schedule.
You’ll be working closely with their friendly team reporting directly to the Associate and Head of the Conveyancing team in Dalry. This role offers the best of both worlds: the close-knit feel of a smaller office, with the support and infrastructure of a larger organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and secretarial support to the conveyancing team.
Assist with reception duties, including greeting clients and handling phone/email enquiries.
Prepare and manage legal documents, letters, and forms related to property transactions.
Maintain and organise client files, both digital and paper-based.
Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and legal regulations.
Support lawyers with day-to-day file management and case progression.
Key Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a legal secretary or paralegal role, ideally within conveyancing.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional, friendly, and client-focused approach.
Knowledge of conveyancing processes and terminology is highly desirable.
