FLT/Yard Operative
Shift Times: 3 days per week, 07:00 - 15:30.
Pay Rate: £25,500 pro-rata
Location: Northampton, NN6 8BE
Contract: Permanent

About the role:

Manpower are looking for a motivated Yard Operative / Stock Controller / Fork Truck Driver to join our client's busy and well-established team. This part-time role (3 days per week, pro-rata) offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on environment, managing stock and supporting day-to-day yard operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Pick stock from the yard as required.
• Wrap and protect materials when necessary.
• Update stock records on a computer using Microsoft Excel.
• Report stock levels to the Operations Director.
• Order materials to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Pack stock ready for collection.
• Coordinate orders and collections with haulage contractors.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence Required
• Forklift certification and experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse/yard environment.
• Basic computer skills, particularly Excel.
