Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal
Location: Hertfordshire (close to Enfield) - easy train connections from Finsbury Park, Walthamstow, and Stevenage (all within 1 hour or less). Exact location and firm will be provided to interested and suitable candidates
Salary: Negotiable - upwards of £32,000 p.a. depending on experience.

The Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal role:
A well-established, medium-sized law firm based in Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal to join their highly successful team.
The firm welcomes applications from candidates with at least 2 years experience assisting on a busy caseload of residential conveyancing files. Legal Secretaries with strong conveyancing knowledge who are keen to take on more responsibility will also be considered.

Essential Knowledge:
? Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process from start to finish
? Confident opening files without a case management system (including AML checks, initial letters, and drafting contracts of sale)
? Experience requesting management packs and applying for office copies via the Land Registry portal
? Skilled in drafting TR1s, completing and submitting SDLT forms and AP1s
? Able to deal with Land Registry requisitions promptly
? Comfortable handling client queries and assisting a busy conveyancer

Essential Skills:
? Ability to work quickly, accurately, and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
? Professional and friendly telephone manner
