Reed Practice are partnering with a regional office of a top UK accountancy firm who can offer an encouraging environment with supportive management, to recruit a part time (3 days p/wk) Accountant. 

Based in their south Cambridgeshire office, tasks will include -

• Preparing limited company accounts, along with CT 600’s
• Bookkeeping.
• VAT return preparation
• Preparing Sole trader, partnership, Rental accounts
• Personal tax returns preparation.
• General office, appropriate administration.

You will be a key liaison with clients, assisting with their move to Digital, looking for new opportunities for the firm, assisting with other tasks such as company secretarial processes when required.

The firm can offer so much to the successful applicant, therefore we those who apply to –

• Demonstrate experience of working in an accountancy practice
• Are either Part Qualified (i.e., ACCA, ACA, AAT) or qualified by experience
• Have proven good knowledge of accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero or TaxCalc

Having worked in Practice you will be well versed and possess the ability to work to deadlines, be an effective communicator to any level and enjoy consulting with clients, able to multi-task and have a desire to progress – our client fully supports those seeking to develop.  Days and hours are flexible to suit you.
