Property Litigation Solicitor / CILEX Litigator

Location: Potters Bar (easy connections from Finsbury Park, Walthamstow, Stevenage & Enfield)

Hours: Full-time or Part-time (flexible start and finish times)

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum + generous bonus package

Experience: Around 5-8+ years PQE

A friendly and progressive Hertfordshire law firm is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor or CILEX-qualified Litigator to join their well-established and thriving Litigation Department. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the firm's litigation practice, much of which is internally generated, while also having the freedom to develop new client relationships through your own business development efforts.

Role Responsibilities:

• Acting for private individuals and businesses
• Managing cases from start to finish, striving for positive client outcomes
• Issuing and managing court proceedings
• Handling General Civil Litigation, Residential & Commercial Landlord & Tenant matters, and Dilapidations
• Engaging in mediation and dispute resolution

Experience & Qualities Required:

• Minimum of 5 years PQE in Property Litigation (ideally 5-8+ years) can be made up of pre & post qualification
• Excellent knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) — must be able to demonstrate this at interview
• Experience handling cases in all courts
• Ideally experienced in residential and commercial landlord & tenant work and dilapidations (not essential)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Highly organised and proactive in approach
• Strong delegation and teamwork skills
• Committed to maintaining excellent client relationships and clear communication throughout each case
• Skilled in mediation and dispute resolution
