Field Based Account Manager

Job title: Account Manager

Reporting to: Sales & Marketing Director

Location: Cumbria, Northumberland and Yorkshire

Days/hours: 3 days a week - 9am to 5pm (Monday and Tuesday (fixed), Wednesday or Thursday) plus occasional evening trade events, training sessions and company events/conferences

Duties will include:

• To visit, manage and develop existing Retail and Catering trade accounts and pioneer new business in the area.

• Typical accounts include specialist retailers, CTN’s, Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, Independent & Multiple Wine Merchants and other.

• To conduct training sessions for trade account personnel

• Periodically host evening cigar and drink tastings/pairing events.

• Achieve sales and distribution targets

• Obtain new distribution points for products and new listings in existing outlets.

• Build relationships with customers to help develop/support business

• Accurate and on-time administration

Skills/Requirements:

• Living within one of the counties for accessible coverage

• Minimum of five years sales experience required. Liquor, Tobacco or other luxury product experience

would be advantageous

• Experience of servicing existing and pioneering new business in Retail and Catering sectors.

• Preference given to candidates who have sold luxury products in the past

• Must have good time and organisational skills and be capable of managing a large territory

• Clean driving licence
