Reed Further Education are looking for a Dental Assessor to an education provider in the South West to start on a part-time permanent basis.


Dental Assessor
  • Location: South West England
  • Salary Scale: £26,700 pro-rata
  • Contract Type: Permanent, part-time
Key Responsibilities of the Dental Assessing role:
  • Workplace/Work Experience Management: Act as the central point of contact for work placement supervisors, ensuring effective communication and monitoring. Organize workplace visits efficiently and provide guidance on the role of work experience.
  • Vocational Assessment: Guide students in completing their online dental portfolios, assess their work against set standards, and provide supportive feedback to foster their professional growth.
  • Quality Assurance and Collaboration: Participate in Course Reviews, Curriculum Planning, and contribute to the College’s training and business development initiatives.
Requirements needed for the Dental Assessor role:


  • Level 3 qualification in Dental Nursing
  • GDC registration,
  • Proven track record in a similar role.
  • TAQA Assessor’s Award or equivalent is desirable.
  • Excellent people skills, the ability to engage effectively with learners and staff, and a strong commitment to professional development are essential.
  • You should also be flexible to work across various across sites
  • Valid UK Driving license.
