Finance Manager

The Essentials:

£18-20 per hour 

9:30am – 1pm, 17.5 hours a week 

 Hove

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing payroll, billing, petty cash, and all the other glamorous bits of finance
  • Chasing invoices and dealing with local authorities and NHS funding (bring snacks)
  • Keeping us compliant with all the acronyms — CQC, GDPR, HMRC — you know the drill
  • Supporting the Home Manager with financial wizardry and occasional reality checks

Who we’re looking for:

  • You’ve got at least 3 years of financial management experience (bonus points if you’ve survived a care home budget meeting)
  • You know your way around QuickBooks like it’s your second home
  • You understand care sector funding (NHS, CHC, local authority — the usual suspects)
  • Ideally part-qualified or qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA — we’re flexible, not delusional)
