HGV Class 1 (CE) Drivers – Dunstable

M4 Specialist is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (CE) Drivers on behalf of our client based in Dunstable. This is a long-term opportunity offering guaranteed hours, excellent pay rates, and the potential for permanent employment within six months.

• £20.56 per hour – Day shifts
• £22.22 per hour – Night shifts
• £23.88 per hour – Overtime (after 10 hours)

Role Responsibilities

• Delivery of cages and totes to retail stores across the South of England (primarily London)
• Working alongside a Driver’s Mate to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
• Maintaining professional standards at all times with a focus on safety and compliance

Shift Information

• Start times between 16:00 and 02:00 (4-hour flex window)
• Average shift duration: 10–12 hours
• Working 4–5 shifts per week

Candidate Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (SP and TS offences only)
• A solid understanding of drivers’ hours regulations and the Working Time Directive
