Day-to-day of the role:
Identify and develop new sales leads to expand the customer base.
Engage in positive sales activities to generate new business opportunities.
Maintain regular engagement with both new and existing customers to ensure business continuity and satisfaction.
Prepare, deliver, and follow up on quotations and leads to maximise conversion rates.
Work towards weekly and monthly sales targets, ensuring consistent performance.
Facilitate a smooth transition of converted jobs to the operations department.
Prospect new opportunities for the assigned facilities and/or markets using cold calling techniques.
Collaborate within the sales team to prioritise opportunities based on market capacity demands and customer profile needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Logistics or shipping sector.
Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible working hours.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
